OpenerKendrick Lamar offered alively and soulful set, backed by a fullband and showcasing full-throttle confidence. The minimalist sound of the Yeezus album made up most of the setlist, and it veered between jarring electro grooves to bursts of bass to bouncy chart-toppers. He peformed New Slaves on a lift atop his mountain; bounced on a triangular stage extension during Mercy; went shirtless during Power, a crowning moment; and unleashed Black Skinhead with proper bursts of rage and aggression. I Am a God, which found him hoisted up by those mysterious figures, could be a cocky proclamation or a need for reassurance, West shouting the line over and over. West is an exception. <br>Source: http://www.nj.com/entertainment/music/index.ssf/2013/12/kanye_west_bound_2.html
